Through immersive STEM experiences and real-world flight training, we equip students and communities with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to move from curiosity to capability. Drone Force Indiana opens doors to the future through hands-on learning and career exploration in drones, aviation, eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing), and urban air mobility industries. We spark curiosity, fuel innovation, and prepare youth with the skills and knowledge to lead and thrive in the dynamic fields of STEM and emerging technologies.

Drone Force Programs

FLIGHT FOUNDATIONS

Flight Foundations introduces students to drone flight through hands-on learning. The program is offered as a 20-hour core experience with optional extensions and is designed for cohorts of ten or more students.

FAA PART 107 GROUND SCHOOL

Our FAA Part 107 Ground School prepares students with the knowledge and confidence needed to sit for the FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Exam. The course covers regulations, airspace, weather, safety, and operational decision-making required for commercial drone operations.)

DISCOVERY DAY

A three-hour immersive experience that introduces students to drones through hands-on activities, interactive challenges, safety awareness, and collaborative group learning.

ADVANCED FLIGHT OPERATIONS

Advanced Flight Operations is a hands-on learning experience designed for current and aspiring drone pilots, as well as organizations seeking to deepen operational skills. The program supports learners who are pursuing or have earned FAA Part 107 certification by emphasizing applied flight scenarios, decision-making, and real-world mission practice
